Teaching Other People to Train Their Own Dogs
- 45 Years teaching group Basic and Advanced Obedience lessons
- Many of my students have put obedience titles on their dogs
- 30 Years teaching 4-H Obedience classes. My 4-H students participate and earn placements in county and state level 4-H and AKC Dog Shows.
- Service Dog training. I have done training for people who own their dog and want it trained for Mobility Assistance, Hearing Assistance and Emotional Support.
My Philosophy
I use motivational methods, i.e. food, toy and praise. I prefer food training, and that's the main idea behind my 10¢ Method to Training Your Dog™ I also advocate teaching your dog each exercise. I don't correct a dog until I know he understands what I want.
